Rock Hall to Host Induction Ceremony -- at Least Every Three Years
Thursday December 20, 2007
It's always been a sore point in the city. Why, when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located in Cleveland, is the annual induction ceremony and all-star concert always held in New York City? Well, all of that seems to be changing, at least every three years.Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and Rock Hall officials announced this week that the 2009 ceremony will be held in Cleveland, most likely in March. No venue has been chosen. The mayor also indicated that the city will host the event every third year after 2009. The other two years, the ceremony will continue to be held in New York City.
