Trail Guide to Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Saturday November 3, 2007
Our warm fall makes perfect weather for exploring the vast, 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which stretches from Peninsula all the way to Akron. To make it even easier to enjoy the scenery and interesting sights in the park, the Cuyahoga Valley Trails Council, with Gray and Co. Publishers, has just released their third edition of the Trail Guide to Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

The guide features a description of all of the park's hiking, biking, equestrian, and Nordic ski trails, with information on difficulty, sights along the route, and the plants and wildlife you'll likely encounter along the way.

Co-editors, Rob and Peg Bobel, with the help of other Trails Council volunteers spent 18 months rehiking all of the trails and updating information. The result is a great resource for exploring one of Northeast Ohio's most beautiful parks.

Trail Guide to Cuyahoga Valley National Park is available at independent bookstores in Northeast Ohio as well as online at various retailers. Click here to shop for a copy.
