Kenny Comes Through for the Indians
Tuesday October 16, 2007
Cleveland is in love with Kenny Lofton. The 40-year-old outfielder, on his third stint with the Indians, has become the spark plug for the Cleveland Indians offense in the post season. Last night, in game three of the American League Division Series, his two-RBI home run in the second inning put the Indians ahead of Boston and they never looked back. It was Lofton's first home run since re-joining the Indians and his timing couldn't have been better. The Indians went on to win with a score of 4-2, putting them ahead of the Red Sox in the best-of-seven series two games to one.
Game four of the series is tonight at Jacobs Field. Game time is 805pm.
Feeling optimistic? If/when the Indians defeat the Red Sox, they will face the hot, hot, hot Colorado Rockies in the World Series, beginning October 24. Games one and two of that series would be played at Jacobs Field. To shop for tickets to those games from TicketsNow, click here.
