Swingo's and others Receive "Wine Enthusiast" Awards

Admittedly, I'm a little behind in my reading, but I think this is worthy enough to mention, even a few months late. The venerable Lakewood restaurant, Swingos on the Lake was awarded Wine Enthusiast magazine's three bottle "Ultimate" designation for the depth and creativeness of their wine list. Swingo's, located in the Carlyle building on Lakewood's Gold Coast, has been a Northeast Ohio fixture since 1986. The family-owned restaurant features Continental cuisine, such as a 15-oz pepper encrusted steak and a Bay of Fundy garlic-rubbed filet of salmon.

Other area award winners included Fleming's Prime Steak House and Wine Bar at Eton, in Woodmere and Akron, and the Vue Restaurant in Hudson.
