Grand Prix of Cleveland - June 22 to 24

Monday June 18, 2007
The 26th running of the Grand Prix of Cleveland is June 24. The race snakes itself around a 2.106-mile course layed out over Burke Lakefront Airport in downtown Cleveland. The three-day racing event, sponsored again this year by LaSalle Bank, is bigger and better than ever. What's more: ticket prices start at just $10.

Race weekend activities include a Friday afternoon parade through downtown Cleveland; a concert by Michael Stanley and the Resonators on Saturday night; a kid's activity center; and extreme sports demos.

Past winners of the Grand Prix of Cleveland have included Robby Rahal (a Medina native), Emerson Fittipaldi, Al Unser, Mario Andretti, Paul Tracy (pictured above), and 2006 winner A.J. Allmendinger.

Tickets are available at www.grandprixofcleveland.com.
