Cedar Point's Maverick Delayed

The debut of the Maverick (pictured at right), the 17th roller coaster at Cedar Point, set to open May 12 with the park, has been delayed. A pre-opening inspection revealed some lengths of track that need to be replaced, a Cedar Point press release announced. The Maverick is now scheduled to debut in mid-June. All other attractions will be operational when Cedar Point opens on May 12.
