Cyrus Waterfront Restaurant Opens in the Flats
Monday May 7, 2007
The Cleveland Powerhouse on the west bank of the Flats has a new restaurant. Cyrus Waterfront Restaurant opens May 7, 2007. The 200+-seat restaurant with a huge patio overlooks downtown Cleveland and the ore boats that ply the Cuyahoga River. Owner/Manager Cyrus Davarpanah, lately the Sommelier and GM at Lockkeeper's Restaurant in Valley View, describes the eatery as serving "creative and value-oriented contemporary American cuisine." Menu items range from $8-$15 for lunch and $10-$25 for dinner and includes a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and grilled fish and meats. A highlight is the comprehensive and affordable wine list, what you'd expect from a former sommelier, which includes 14 by-the-glass offerings, none over $10.
Cyrus Waterfront Restaurant is open seven days a week, for lunch and dinner, from 11am to 11pm. Future plans include 24 wine-tastings and a number of live music events. With its glorious patio and stellar view, Cyrus is sure to become a summer favorite. For reservations and information, call 216 241-3325. Look for my full review in the next week or so.
