"Pass it On" - Cleveland Recycling

Thursday February 22, 2007
I came across this great book, Pass It On, at the Cleveland Library over the weekend on resources in Cuyahoga County for donating "usable stuff." The short spiral-bound book lists charities and organizations that accept (and need) items, ranging from appliances to eyeglasses to office equipment to musical instruments. Many even offer pick-up service. The book is available in PDF form on the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District's website.

The next time you clean out a closet or a garage or your parent's house, take a look at which of the things that you're throwing away can benefit someone else in the city.

Read more about Cleveland recycling.

Hi Shirley:
This is the Web page for Lorain County recycling. The numbers vary depending on what you’re recycling.

Do you know of any recyclers who pay for glass bottles in our area?
