This Weekend in Cleveland: Holiday Events Continue

Friday December 8, 2006
The city is in the heart of the holiday season. The Nutcracker, performed by the Cincinnati Ballet, continues at Playhouse Square through Sunday. Langston Hughes' Black Nativity premieres Friday at Karamu House and continues through December 31, and Apollo's Fire performs Handel's Messiah at various area churches throughout the weekend.

Other weekend events include the Tremont Holiday Hop Friday and Saturday, the "By Hand Fine Arts and Crafts Show" at the I-X Center Saturday and Sunday, and Akron native, Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders at the Agora on Sunday.

For information on these and other events, refer to the December events calendar.
