Alpine Valley Hosts Weekend Open House

Can ski season be far behind? Alpine Valley, the Chesterland Ohio ski area, is hosting an open house October 20 - 22 with activities to interest both skiers and non-skiers. Among them are free fall foliage chair lift rides (Sat. and Sun.), free horse-drawn hayrides (also Sat. and Sun.), live entertainment, discounts on winter ski equipment and merchandise, refreshments, and a fishing contest. Visitors will also get a chance to tour the ski resort's new 8000-square foot guest services area.
Alpine Valley is located at 10620 Mayfield Rd. in Chesterland. Hours for the open house are Friday from Noon to 9pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
